Camping Party

It is not a secret that I love to plan kids parties. Any time I am interviewed by a publication about them, they always ask “when you are planning your own kid’s parties what do you do first?” As much as I may seem to be in control, when it comes to their parties, I let them decide. Yup, they get free reign of what they want as their theme (lucky for me, they have always wanted something different then their classmates!)  This party is my son’s 8th birthday party. All he wanted to do was camp out in the backyard. I am going to guess he got this idea from my parents who have a fancy RV and go to a campground, because the only time I camped was on a beach in Key West! Get ready for a ton of ideas and an abundance of Camping Party photos.

I think my husband liked this theme just as much as Carter!
