I have a good friend who has 4 boys. Every year I ask her, “What are you going to do for their parties” her reply…”do I have too?!” So when I got the green light that she wanted to throw her (last) baby boy a first birthday party, you can insert my excitement here! Mom has a love for a certain band, who she always goes to the concerts, so I said how about a rocker star party?! Not the black finger nail and long hair kind, a cute preppy one (you know me with preppy!) So the theme was chosen and the colors (navy, red, and grey) were picked and here is what we got…..Preppy Rock Star Birthday Party!
Invitation resembled a concert ticket
Snack Table (all one year old treats *except the twizzlers, those were for the big kids)
and YES those are REAL records! (kids were wondering what they were!)
I could not find napkins, so I stamped them myself with drums!
Stuck wall decals on the counter near the food, EASY, instant decor!
Concert goers received VIP wristbands
and backstage passes
and of course every rocker needs a pin for their denim jacket
